About the role
INDEX is partnering with a federal government client on a high-stakes program of work — and we are looking for a IRAP Assessor to help lead delivery. You will work on systems where the cost of getting it wrong is real, alongside a senior, pragmatic team that cares about outcomes over billable hours.
This is hands-on work with genuine influence. You will shape decisions, mentor others, and work alongside the stakeholders who depend on what you build.

Lead delivery of complex technology work in a regulated, high-stakes environment.
Partner with client teams to turn strategy into working, governed outcomes.
Embed quality, security and observability as first-class properties of everything you ship.
Mentor others and lift the standard of practice across the team.
What you will bring
Strong, demonstrable experience in the federal government space.
A genuine commitment to governance, security and quality — not as an afterthought.
Experience in regulated or government environments is highly regarded.
Excellent communication and stakeholder skills.
