Our client is a large Victorian Government-owned organisation providing shared ICT services across multiple departments and agencies. They deliver critical workplace, security, identity, network and cloud services that support thousands of public sector users. The organisation plays a key role in enabling reliable, secure and contemporary digital services for government operations.
About the Role
This role supports the delivery of a large-scale Modern Desktop (Windows 11) deployment while ensuring Business as Usual (BAU) workplace and application services remain stable. You will work within a high-demand operational environment, balancing incident resolution with deployment support. The role is critical in maintaining service continuity, reducing operational risk and supporting customer satisfaction during sustained periods of change.
Key Responsibilities
Provide operational support for BAU workplace and application services in line with agreed SLAs
Support delivery activities for the Modern Desktop (Windows 11) rollout across the customer base
Manage and resolve incidents, requests and issues in a high-volume environment
Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to minimise service disruption
Contribute to maintaining service performance during peak deployment periods
Skills Required
Proven experience supporting Modern Desktop (Windows 11) deployments
Strong experience in incident management and BAU operational support
Experience working within State or Federal Government environments (highly regarded)
You must be Melbourne-based as this role is 100% onsite
You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
