About the role:
INDEX Consultants are looking for a Business Analyst for one of our long-standing customers in the Victorian State Government. This is a 6-month engagement with a possibility of extension. The right person in this role will combine their IT expertise with business acumen to deliver effective cost structures that drive business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with key stakeholders on pricing, sales, ROI and profits to optimize business outcomes.
- Elicit user, business and system requirements using techniques such as requirements workshops, interviews, surveys, process descriptions, system documentation, use cases, business analysis, document analysis, task and workflow analysis.
- Develop and maintain relationships with project team members, internal and external stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.
Required skills:
- Experience in business/financial systems analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems based on analysis and investigation.
- Proven experience in eliciting and documenting requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
Other Requirements
- Must have unlimited working rights in Australia.
- Must be based in Melbourne.
