About the role:
INDEX has partnered with a key Federal Government Agency to develop and support their data reporting and analytical capabilities. The Data Engineer will help the agency develop, test, support and maintain data solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop data replication pipelines from various source systems to enable business reporting.
- Integrate and curate data for optimized data reporting.
- Support data analysis requests.
- Identify technical risks and issues that could impact a proposed solution and delivery.
Required skills:
- Demonstrated experience with multi-layer data warehousing.
- Experience and knowledge of using IBM InfoSphere, DataStage or similar ETL tools.
- Experience with Relational Databases like Oracle, SQL or similar.
- Experience with Data Replication from technologies like Siebel or similar tools.
Other Requirements
- Has to be an Australian Citizen
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance
