About the role
INDEX Consultants is seeking a skilled Project Manager with extensive Disaster Recovery experience to join our dynamic team. We are supporting a key customer, in protecting their critical systems and data and ensuring they are recoverable in the event of a disaster or disruptive incident.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the overall Technology Disaster Recovery Framework.
- Develop and maintain overall plans for executing all Disaster Recovery procedures and understand their interdependencies.
- Working with Technology stakeholders to ensure that Disaster Recovery solutions are adequate, in place, maintained, and tested as part of the regular operational and capital life cycle.
- Schedule and lead all Disaster Recovery exercises including executing test exercises for critical business processes.
- Help ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, and ordinances such as SOCI, essential 8, etc
Required Skills:
- Five+ years’ experience of Technology Disaster Recovery management and planning within complex organisations (Tier 1 or 2)
- Proficiency in Disaster Recovery management tools/software.
- Experience in data backup and recovery tools and procedures.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and their implications for disaster recovery planning
- Knowledge/ Experience with Standard recovery frameworks like NIST SP 800-34 or PECB ISO 22301 Reporting
- Compliance with standards and regulations such as Essential 8 and SOCI.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Must be based in Melbourne.
- Must have unlimited working rights in Australia.
