About the Role:
INDEX Consultants has partnered with a Public Sector client to deliver a state-of-the-art digital healthcare solution. This project aims to enhance their cloud-first strategy and elevate sector-wide integration, prioritise data security and reliability. The Application Support Engineer will provide L2 and L3 support for applications and integration technologies within SLA expectations
Key Deliverables:
- Monitor, maintain, and support the performance and stability of integrated clinical and enterprise systems like EHR
- Manage system deployments, updates, and patching activities across development and production environments.
- Operate within an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework, supporting applications and integration technologies
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless system operations.
- Administer user access and security settings, and support onboarding and issue resolution for end users.
- Drive automation and process improvements to enhance system efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience providing L2/L3 application support
- Hands-on experience supporting EHR systems, HL7 messaging, and integration tools like DAT, HL7 Spy, and dbMotion.
- Mandatory experience in a Healthcare AND/OR Public Sector environment
- Experience in providing both project and ongoing application support, with the ability to maintain applications proactively.
- Solid understanding of ITIL framework

- Must be based in Melbourne or willing to relocate
