About the Role
INDEX is working with one of it’s biggest Federal Government clients. We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Developer who will play a pivotal role in overseeing software development projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with business and technical requirements for our client. They will lead a team of developers, providing technical expertise and mentoring to ensure the successful implementation of SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead analysis, design, development, prototyping, and maintenance activities for SAP projects.
- Develop high-quality custom solutions and standard conversion/migration solutions.
- Ensure compliance with software development methodologies and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and support to junior team members.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports on project outcomes and quality assurance.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years as a SAP Developer
- Experience in SAP ABAP CRM, SAP ABAP ERP, SAP BRF+, SAP Fiori, SAP S/4 HANA, SAP UI, SAP Gateway/ODATA, or other SAP modules as listed.
- Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and deliver innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in mentoring and developing junior team members.
